2MAX TV
2MAX TECHNOLOGIES

Privacy policy

This policy covers the 2MAX TV Android TV app and the website at tv.2max.tech. Effective September 6, 2026.

What the app and website collect

If you choose Connect website and press OK after the in-app disclosure, 2MAX TV sends 2MAX Technologies a randomly generated installation identifier, the television model, the app version, and subsequent connection times. These are used for TV setup and playlist synchronization. The app does not contact the 2MAX TV manager before that choice. The identifier is created by 2MAX TV; it is not the Android advertising ID or Android device ID.

If you use website setup, playlist URLs and provider usernames and passwords are stored on the 2MAX TV server and sent to your television so the app can load the service you chose. Setup cookies are essential to the pairing process and expire after 15 minutes. Those credentials are not stored in browser local storage.

If you send feedback, we collect the report text and any device details, contact information, and screenshots you choose to include. An essential feedback-session cookie expires after one hour. Screenshots are resized and re-encoded to remove embedded image metadata.

Voice search, viewing data, and other services

Voice search is optional and starts only after you select the microphone and grant permission. Android's speech-recognition service may process the audio under the privacy terms of the speech service configured on your device. 2MAX Technologies does not receive or store the recording.

Your favourites, searches, reminders, viewing history, and playback progress are stored on your television and are not sent to the 2MAX TV manager. The app makes requests to the playlist provider you choose to load and play content. It may also fetch optional programme-guide data from epg.pw, poster images from hosts named by your provider (including image.tmdb.org), and the public sample streams shown before a playlist is added. Those services receive ordinary connection information such as your IP address. Their own privacy terms apply.

2MAX TV's Google Play release requires HTTPS for the 2MAX TV server, playlist providers, programme guides, artwork and streams. It rejects cleartext HTTP connections so provider credentials and viewing requests are encrypted in transit.

How information is used and shared

We use installation data and playlist settings only to connect a television to its setup, deliver its playlists, maintain the service, respond to requests, and prevent abuse. Feedback is used to investigate reports and improve the app. We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or share it with other users. The server operator and infrastructure providers can access server data when necessary to operate the service or comply with law.

Retention, security, and deletion

Installation records and associated website-supplied playlist settings remain until the server operator removes them or you request deletion. Feedback remains until the operator deletes it. Short-lived pairing and form sessions expire automatically. Request logs may retain connection metadata, but credential values are excluded from application logs.

We use access controls, one-way hashes for device and session secrets, HTTPS for the 2MAX TV service, and restricted manager access. No internet service can promise absolute security.

You can ask us to find or delete an installation record, website-supplied playlist settings, or feedback report using our data deletion page. We may need to verify enough information to locate the record and prevent someone else from deleting it. Uninstalling the app deletes its local app data; it does not by itself delete server records.

Children and changes

2MAX TV is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We may update this policy when the app or service changes. The effective date above will change when the policy changes materially.
